Registration is now open for the 2017 NAMLE conference.
The conference will take place in Chicago, Illinois, from June 26 - June 28, 2017, at Roosevelt University.
The conference theme, "Engaging Citizens, Building Community" encapsulates the NAMLE conferences objective to bring stakeholders together to advance media literacy education policy and practice. Educators, scholars, policymakers, media professionals, elected officials, and community members will gather together to address different perceptions of medias role in a deeply divided political climate. The mission for the 2017 NAMLE Conference is to explore the relationships between media literacy education, civic participation and community-building within our contemporary culture.
